About epotli
epotli is a small collection of free educational games for kids ages 3 to 8. Built in India by a parent who got tired of every kids' site turning into ads, sign-ups, or a data funnel. No accounts. No tracking of your child. No ads. Just games.
Every game is open in the browser, works offline once you visit it, and installs as a Progressive Web App if you want it on the home screen. Suggestions and bug reports go to WhatsApp +91 99822 31113 — kept private, never published.
Credits and attribution
Emoji artwork in our literacy games is © Twemoji and OpenMoji contributors, licensed CC-BY 4.0. Source files live in this repo under public/twemoji/ with the upstream commit SHA pinned in scripts/literacy/download-twemoji.tsso the bytes don't drift.
- Twemoji (jdecked fork) — used for most emoji illustrations
- OpenMoji — used to fill gaps where Twemoji is missing a glyph
